Former Skeagh National School, Skeagh Townland

The former Skeagh (or Skeogh) National School, which according to the plaque was erected in 1839, is now a private dwelling sited on School Road in Skeagh townland. As note of interest, for those who are not familiar with the area, Skeagh is always pronounced "Skake".
