Taken from the footbridge over the river, looking towards the farm at Ystrad-Dewi. Fishing is particularly popular in this river, trout and salmon being highly prized. Don't forget your licence; fines can be very high! The Western Mail had this to say in March 2009: "The Teifi at Pont Llanio was a very popular fishing station back then (pre 1970) mainly because when the factory gave the milk pipes their weekly clean it would discharge the water – full of tiny maggots and mini milk clots – into the river giving the trout for a mile or so downriver a regular feast. This kept them in tip-top condition all winter and it was therefore an ideal spot to kick off the new season." http://www.walesonline.co.uk/countryside-farming-news/country-farming-columnists/2009/03/10/new-permit-will-not-allow-anglers-artistic-licence-91466-23103082/
