Struggling towards the Clouds

The trees in this hedgerow are struggling to keep their crowns from being smothered with ivy – but it is a battle they will never win, without human help. The Ivy weakens the trees – and because it doesn't loose its leaves in winter they will become more vulnerable to winter storms. It will be interesting to see which is the first one to fall down.
