The surviving buildings of the former gas works in Warwick finally being renovated. The buildings have been empty for years and subject to vandal attack. Now the building is being renovated, either as housing or offices (it is adjacent to a new housing development). The octagonal ends are where the gas holders were as it was law until the 1830s that gas holders should be encased in a brick structure.
