A bronze statue to Queen Victoria, in Katharine Street, Croydon. I must have walked past this statue hundreds of times without realising the potential. The same might have happened, today, had I not been coming out of the Clocktower Café just as the clock was striking four. In the background is the tower of Croydon Town Hall.
