Site of a passing loop on the Portreath Tramroad, one of several serving the former mineral tramway. A number of granite sleeper blocks remain visible and in situ, while the plaque on the left records the work of local volunteers in excavating and consolidating the old tramroad as part of the Mineral Tramways Project.
