The old goods warehouse (now used by construction and road haulage firms) at No.471 Wincolmlee is all that remains of the former Sculcoates Station just west of the Wilmington swing bridge. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/627493 The station on the North Eastern Railway's Victoria Dock branch line was opened on June 1st 1853 and closed in 1968. http://www.subbrit.org.uk/sb-sites/stations/s/sculcoates/index.shtml Part of the trackbed is now a cycle path and an access road to a travellers' caravan park. Also in the picture are the 137 metre high chimney built for Reckitts in the 1970s http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/627499 and the derelict British Extracting Company silos http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/275078 on the east bank of the River Hull.
