"A strong link with the past." Really? This railway bridge is in real need of repainting, but will it ever sport the name of Hanson's again? Wolverhampton and Dudley Breweries (Banks's - now called Marston's) acquired Hanson's in 1943 and closed the Dudley brewery in 1991. Hanson's Mild was the Gold Medal winner in the "Mild" class at the CAMRA Champion of Britain contest in 1979. The bridge's paint job appears to be of about the same vintage! Route 598 runs every ten minutes most of the week, but every half hour during evenings and on Sundays. Apparently it is operated at present by National Express, Coventry. The route is Wolverhampton - Fallings Park - Showell Circus - Bushbury Hill (via Park Village, Park Lane Bus Garage and Low Hill).
