This bridge is in real need of repainting, but will it ever sport the name of Hanson's again? Wolverhampton and Dudley Breweries (Banks's - now called Marston's) acquired Hanson's in 1943 and closed the Dudley brewery in 1991. Hanson's Mild Ale was the Gold Medal winner in the "Mild" class at the CAMRA Champion of Britain contest in 1979.
