The moles have been very active, probably because of the cold winter. The embankment of the dismantled Manchester and Milford railway crosses the middle of the scene. The railway did not go to Manchester and did not go to Milford! http://www.railbrit.co.uk/Manchester_and_Milford_Railway/frame.htm The steep edged hills of the Elenydd moorland provide an impressive skyline.
