Part of "Orpington New Town", originally built in the mid 19th century primarily for railway workers. The premises on the right belong to the Petts Wood Printing Company. Founded in 1937, it moved here in 1955. In the background is Kent Road (see Image) and beyond is the tower of St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church (see Image).
