The Poor Sisters of Nazareth purchased Knightons villa and moved here from Chiswick in 1921. They provided care for children and the elderly. The last children left in 1974. Currently residential care is provided for the elderly and mass is held daily in the Chapel. The current care complex and chapel were completed in 1982.
