Looking east towards Boulevard with No.30 on the left, opposite the junction of Carrington Street. The street gave Hull FC rugby league club their nickname "The Airlie Birds", although the club have now moved from the old Boulevard Stadium http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1129524 off the south side of Airlie Street to the new KC Stadium http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1156501 in West Park. Most of the old terraced houses seen here have been earmarked by the city council for acquisition and demolition between 2011 and 2014.
