The building with a cupola in the background is now known as "The Black-E" and is a community arts centre. Previously, it was the Great George Street Congregational Chapel which, because of its soot blackened walls and predominantly Afro-Caribbean congregation, was fondly known as "The Blackie". 21st century political correctness has demanded that the name be changed to "The Black-E".
