Headstone in St.Margaret's churchyard with a tragic tale .... Two afflicted parents erect this stone to commemorate the loss of three children Who in their infancy were snatched away by a cruel and rapid fever Mary Clarke aged 6 years, Feb.10th 1804 Richard aged 10, Feb 18th 1804 and Thomas aged 2, the same day When fleeting time shall cease to plow When clos'd these passing hours What crowds will wish their stay below Had been as short as ours Also John an infant who died Feb 7th 1806
