Humphrey Repton designed the landscaping for Kidbrooke Park, re routing the River Kid with a system of channels and tunnels. On this day, SE England was hit by a freak storm that dropped 2 inches + of rain in a couple of hours and flooded the mansion and parts of the village. Here one can see the Ha-Ha overcome with flood water spewing onto the hockey field. No students around as it was summer holidays.
