When first opened, the centre featured a gallery of fast food outlets concentrated in one area on the first floor. These have now disappeared although two struggle along on the left side landing. The Virgin mega store at the far end became a Zaavi's record store which is of course about to disappear. Meanwhile, at the other end of town, there is a multi-million pound development ongoing. Has the world gone mad?
