A view up the Tamar valley. In the foreground is a local recreation facility and in the middle distance is the industrial estate, largely occupied by Toshiba Consumer Products Ltd manufacturing television equipment. Between the two, to the left is vacant plot. Since the photograph was taken this area has been fenced off as there are plans to erect a waste disposal plant there. Also under discussion is a proposal for a travellers site to be located in the vicinity. Ernesettle also benefits from a sewage works and the Royal Navy's armaments storage facility located just left of the factory ! I understand that, despite the views, local house prices might have dropped of late!
