This stile takes a footpath off from Ashotts Lane towards the main lane through Asheridge which it joins near Hunter's Oak via another stile (see Image]). This footpath along the edge of fields runs parallel with the northernmost 400 yards/metres or so of Ashotts Lane. This stile can be seen in the background of Image
