2009 : The A3102 joins the A342

Turns left at the junction then leaves it to the right after 500 or 600 yards and makes its way to Melksham. Up to about 1960 there was a very dangerous crossroads here with the A3102 going straight on. Visibility was poor in both directions and there were accidents. The old road has now been blocked off.
