This large postbox stands on the forecourt of a 24-hour filling station/general store. It was probably moved here from a little closer to the cathedral, since there used to be a post office along there and there is no box now outside the premises. The box is emptied finally at 5:30pm on weekdays and at noon on Saturdays.
