DMS1452 races a Ford Cortina estate away from the lights at the junction with South Park Drive. On the opposite side of the road the Barclays bank on the corner of Upney Lane can be seen along with the shops in the western part of Faircross Parade. DMS1452 is a Daimler Fleetline with MCW bodywork. It was withdrawn from London Transport service in the same month that this photo was taken as Fleetlines in the area were replaced by Leyland Titans. It subsequently gave a few more years service in Manchester before being scrapped in 1986.
