Designed by the architect William Ferguson and constructed circa 1900. 3-storey and attic, cruciform-plan sandstone school. Contains well-detailed and little-altered interior. 'B'listed by Historic Scotland, together with its boundary walls, railings and gatepiers. Due to close as part of South Lanarkshire Council's school modernisation programme.
