Looking east across the caravan site from the churchyard at Dingestow is this small wood beyond the River Trothy. Somewhere, hidden in the woodland is all that remains of a motte and bailey castle. Mill Wood Motte is around 15 feet high and is very overgrown. It was built to guard the crossing over the river.
