This sandstone bridge (and a similar one close by) were built for the Ulster Railway between 1837 and 1839. It carries the Belfast (right) – Dublin railway over the Lambeg Road. There is a height restriction of 13ft/3.9m with a diversion (behind me) for oversize vehicles. There is no footpath so pedestrians must use the road.
