Byway to Ashby St Ledgers

Although this is a designated part of the Jurassic Way, the name does not appear on the signposts in this area. The presence of the 'byway' sign seems a little odd here because there is no meeting of rights of way, although just ahead the route ceases to be a track. Neither does there seem to be any obvious reason for the drawing of a face on the signpost.
