Even the railway line is almost blanketed by the heavy snow of the last week. The Hill of Muldearie is on the skyline at right. The line was laid through boggy ground, and I have been told that a person standing close to the trackbed can feel the ground fall as a train approaches and rise again after it has passed. I have not tried this out!
