One of the oldest (1712) in the Diocese of Connor, the Church is situated inside RAF Aldergrove, which is a military establishment subject to strong security. I had to be issued with passes for myself and my car and the RAF personnel couldn't have been more helpful and cheerfully offered me every facility. Services are held every Sunday. The wife of the Incumbent has recently published a book on the Parish of Killead and Gartree, which initially roused my interest.
