Outer wall of Kidwelly Castle

The castle is half-moon shaped and has concentric walls. This view shows the curved outer wall of the west side, which is set on a mound with a ditch around it. Inside are the south west tower (right) and the north west tower (centre) which defend the inner ward. For more information see http://www.castlewales.com/kidwelly.html .
