Public footpath 184 Capel passes over a footbridge on the boundary between Strood and Nightless Copses. The woodland floor shows early signs of hosting a carpet of bluebells within a month or two, and is owned by the Ede family, well known in the area for removals, whose business is based on the southern side of Nightless Copse, just off the Rusper Road.
