Note the difference between the "treated" Main Street and the minor Church Lane. The blue sign just beyond end of the railing is advising drivers of large vehicles that the road is unsuitable. These were erected about 10 years ago after several brewery delivery lorries got jammed in the very narrow part of Church Lane as they tried to get to the pub. We still get the opportunist lorry trying to get through – not today though! Compare with Image
