Liden Lagoon, Swindon

Image: © Brian Robert Marshall Taken: 5 Feb 2009

Heavy (relatively speaking) snow overnight has caused schools to be closed and provided an opportunity for folk to take a day off work. Young men are building a snowman (centre right) while a group of youngsters are sliding down the slope towards the lagoon. No-one built up enough speed to end up in the lagoon at the left. The large bird at the upper left of the image may be a heron.
