I think he has been cleaned since may 2008 Image The plaque reads: Emperor Hadrian / In this area for the building of the Roman Wall / AD 122 - 128 / This statue was purchased and erected by / Brampton Chamber of Trade / for the people of Brampton / April 1999. Was he really so young at that time?
