This roundabout is surrounded by a new development of houses, known as The Crescent. It is part of the large building going on in King's Hill. The road (Beacon Avenue) behind the viewer stops as more parcels of land have yet to be built on. When finished the road will lead to A226. The road leading straight on leads to a development called 'Oaks Hamlet' (with Amber Lane and Shoesmith Lane), these houses have only just been completed by Environ Homes. The road leading right is Discovery Drive going past the Primary school and into central King's Hill.
