When the 184 bus leaves the bustling city centre of Manchester, 14 miles away to the south east, most passengers who use this bus service along its route would never even imagine that the end of the route finishes here on this narrow lane in the middle of the country side at Diggle. Located on Lee Side opposite the Diggle Hotel http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/377016 the bus stop on the left of the photograph is for alighting passengers only. The bus in the picture has just turned around and is about to make the journey back to Manchester.
