One of the features of the Rows in Chester is the variety of styles of railings from many different periods. These railings are particularly intricate. On the right of the photo are the steps down to Eastgate Street from Godstall Lane. The building on the other side of Eastgate Street is the Browns of Chester/Debenhams department store.
