Victoria Park extends both north and south of Carr Road, Nelson. This was taken looking northwards from the bridge carrying Carr Road over Pendle Water, which here is flowing towards the photographer. On this cold mid-December day, Pendle Water flowed strongly, but the neighbouring park lake was frozen solid.
