The Humber (Formerly The Humber Hotel) was built by Hewitts Brewery Grimsby to replace the original Public House which was a few doors to the right of the photo in Humber Street. In its heyday the "Humber" was often the first stop for Fishermen returning home after three week at sea, and likewise the last call before they rejoined their Trawler. http://flickr.com/photos/riffraff1/2199834070/
