These lodges in the grounds of the up-market Slaley Hall Hotel are described as "seasonal ownership" (elsewhere I think the term is the somewhat discredited "timeshare"). The path in the foreground is designated as a "buggy" track which, despite the steep gradients, is used by golf buggies to transfer between the lodges, the hotel and the golf course.
