The northern end of George Street approaching the junction of Blatchington Road. Hove's Woolworths is now empty though the shop's lights are still mostly working. Blatchington Road has lost a number of stores over the years including a Marks and Spencer. George Street was pedestrianised in the late 1990s which has made it a much nicer place even though many of the traders objected to it.
