Parting Drain, Manea Fifties

This is one of the many drains that intersect the low-lying land between Manea and Welney. The area was once divided into 50-acre lots, separated by drains such as these: hence 'the Fifties'. This drain is wider than most and therefore has a name; most of the ditches are unnamed.
