Now part of the A23 that has been built to relieve traffic in both London Road and Ditchling Road. Part of the New England Quarter development and taken from the junction with Stroudley Road with New England House in the background. The name Fleet Street has been revived having originally been a small street on the eastern side of the former goods yard between Ann Street and Cheapside. When that area was redeveloped in the 1960s it disappeared into the newly enlarged road which was renamed New England Street over its entire course.
