The world renowned distillery at Glenfiddich, where one of the world's most famous drinks is produced. The distillery offers free tours and the grounds and traditional distillery buildings are very characteristic and well maintained. The distillery was built by William Grant and his young family and the stills operated for the first time on Christmas day 1876. Even today, the distillery is family owned and uses traditional distilling techniques.
