Dellsome Lane used to run from the centre of Welham Green to Colney Heath. It was bisected by the building of the A1(M). A small part survives in Colney Heath and a larger part in Welham Green. From just north of its junction with Parsonage Lane in Welham Green, it is blocked off from traffic. It is still however tarmaced right up to the fence at the A1(M), although very narrow and overgrown. Photographed looking eastward, with the A1(M) about 50 yards behind me. Although not condoning car theft, it must have been an extraordinary bit of driving to get a car this far down the lane.
