Built to a design by Victor J Syborn and opened in 1961, this building replaced what is now Lakeswood Hall (see Image) as the place of worship for Methodists in Petts Wood. In the background can be seen Morrisons Supermarket, which was opened in 1982 on the former site of the Embassy cinema.
