Until 1997 Job's Lane ran from east to west with minor roads Stairbridge Lane leaving to the left and Pookbourne Lane to the right. The building of the new A2300 has meant that Stairbridge Lane now extends down to that road with Job's Lane running parallel and made much quieter having once been a busy rat run from the A23 to Burgess Hill. Job's Cottages are in the distance to the right.
