Created in 1960 by Douglas Bunn who believed Britain needed facilities to match those in America and Europe. He purchased nearby Hickstead Place and turned the former park into an equestrian centre complete with international standard arena. Since then the place has gone from strength to strength and remains synonymous with Show Jumping though the centre also caters for dressage and polo. This view takes in the front of the show office, one of the main stands and the executive boxes.
