Situated on the A448 road from Kidderminster to Bromsgrove. The building is in the area of Chaddesley Corbett known as Lower Chaddesley and is about 200 years old. It became a beerhouse in 1834 and then an inn in 1850. It brewed its own beer until 1903, when it was sold to a brewery. It has been a free house since the present owner bought it from Bass in 1999. Today it is a busy popular pub that offers excellent food at very reasonable prices, as well as a good range of beers.
