The Tuckers were the original owners of Sealyham Mansion nearby. Thomas Tucker RN was reputed to have killed the notorious pirate known as Blackbeard but since the pirate was said to have perished in 1718, Thomas Tucker, born in the early C18, would have been very young at the time. It's possible there has been some confusion too with Black Bart/Barti Ddu, coincidentally born very close by in Cas Newydd Bach, see Image
