Pembridge looks a picture, but the ever present traffic on the main road makes the narrow village centre a difficult place to live in both sanely and safely. At West End, the houses lay back a little, however. West End farm dates from the spring of 1425, when the timber for the frame was felled. There were alterations in the 16th and 17th centuries.
